Restoration Trainee

Circuit Rider Productions is seeking motivated individuals that are
interested in gaining field and technical experience to help implement
our ecological restoration projects. Work duties/training includes but
is not limited to CA native plant identification, seed collection, and
propagation, native plant re-vegetation, irrigation installation,
maintenance, and monitoring of restoration projects, invasive species
removal, and herbicide application. At times trainees will be asked to
travel and stay overnight to implement projects for up to five
consecutive days and duration of four weeks. _Physical Requirements_:
Standing/sitting intermittently throughout the day, walking, hiking and
climbing in rough terrain, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., working
outdoors in inclement weather, continuous bending and stooping
throughout the day, operate various power tools safely (including a two
person auger and chainsaw). Able to drive oversized, standard shift
vehicles for local and regional travel in all weather conditions,
safely, up to eight hours per day. This is a temporary nine-month
position geared for hard workers interested in restoration and related
fields. Valid CA drivers license required. Prior experience is desired
